HHC is governed by a seven-member Board of Trustees, whose members are appointed by the Mayor of Indianapolis, the City-County Council and the County Commissioners.

For kids who need their sports physicals before school starts, walk-ins will be available at the Action Health Center in July and August for $10 from 3-5:30 p.m. See flyer for more details!

Coming up tomorrow: the Back to School Community Resource Day at 3838 N. Rural St. in Indianapolis from 8:30 a.m. to noon! Bring your kids to get a free backpack of school supplies, sports physicals and immunizations, dental and vision screenings, & diaper and car seat giveaways.

July is UV Safety Awareness Month! Practice sun safety and protect your skin by using a layered approach to sun protection. Wear protective clothing, use sunscreen with at least SPF 15, and seek shade wherever possible.
