Covering Kids and Families/Outreach

Covering Kids and Families is an outreach program designed specifically to assist parents with completing paperwork required for Hoosier Healthwise. Our goal is to ensure that all families have access to affordable healthcare. Covering Kids and Families partners with schools, hospitals, clinics and various other community programs to assist children and families with their healthcare needs. Community outreach workers are assigned to areas within Marion County and the surrounding counties.

Some of the services covered by Hoosier Healthwise are: hospital care, doctor visits and check-ups, lab and x-ray services, mental health services, dental check-ups, transportation, prescriptions, immunizations and many other additional services.
