ServicesThe Grants Department at Health and Hospital Corporation of Marion County engages in the following activities: Project development - planning, writing, editing, authorizing and submitting new and renewal grant proposals;Resource development - searching for and recommending funding opportunities from federal, state, local and private sources; Funding plans - creating funding plans specifically tailored to program needs upon request and collaboration with program managers; Fiscal services - assisting with budget preparation, contract negotiation, receipt and processing of awards and compliance with funding agency expenditure policies; Subcontract development and monitoring - facilitating contract processing of awards, including boilerplate preparation, scope of work review and reimbursement of sub-recipients; Trainings - providing presentations to administrators and program managers on resource development and the role of the Grants Department; and Quarterly newsletter - creating a newsletter addressing each of the above services for distribution to administrators and program managers. |
