MINIMUM STARTING PAY: $17.91 Adolescent Counselor / MBHL Social Worker - Social Services As an Adolescent Counselor you would be responsible for providing a variety of counseling/social work services and psycho-educational groups in assigned work setting; assists/guides adolescents, adults and their families towards finding practical ways of overcoming social, emotional, environmental problems which interfere with optimum functioning/attainment of total health care; refers/tracks clients through the community service systems to achieve continuity of care. This position is primarily located at a MCHD School Based Health Clinic and/or ACTION Health Center. The Mother Baby Healthline Social Services Worker is responsible for providing initial assessment and referral through telephone social services interventions to a diversity of individuals who call requesting maternal and child health related resources/services for themselves, family members or others. In addition there will be occasional contact with patients/clients who present for service at the Mother Baby Healthline office located at the MCHD Headquarters. Duties also include: Maintaining data collection and the ability to analyze data in order to formulate reports applicable to meeting the requirements of the Local Health Maintenance grant and the Social Services Department. Must have a Master's Degree from an accredited School of Social Work preferred; but will accept Master's in Counseling from an accredited Master's Counseling Program. Licensed to practice social work in Indiana or be eligible to become a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). |

MINIMUM STARTING PAY: $21.41 Epidemiologist - Epidemiology (Maternal Child Health) We are seeking an epidemiologist with training or experience in maternal and child health epidemiology to support our fetal and infant mortality review (FIMR), and to provide epidemiologic support to other heath department programs. The FIMR team is a group of health care providers, experts, and advocates who examine cases of infant death within the county to identify and implement actions that may improve birth outcomes in the future. MINIMUM STARTING PAY: $17.91 Network Engineer - Corporate Information Systems Seeking a Tier II Desktop / Network Engineer to provide hands-on technical support from the desktop to the wiring closet at end user sites within Marion County, including headquarters. Responsibility includes desktops, laptops, Wyse thin clients, peripherals, operating system software, network connectivity (including switches, routers, data/voice cabling), phones and Blackberrys. Application support includes Windows 2000/XP Pro, Citrix, MS Office, Symantec Antivirus, Lotus Notes and specialized applications. As a member of the Network Operations team, the engineer works with other desktop engineers, help desk, application specialists, and senior network engineers to provide daily operations support and project implementations. Performing the job successfully requires hands-on experience in and intermediate knowledge of desktop support, network cabling, network connectivity, Windows protocols (TCP/IP), phones and solid problem solving skills. The engineer interacts with end users face-to-face daily, traveling to multiple HHC sites within Indianapolis / Marion County. This individual will also be responsible for maintaining surveillance systems and community education relative to prevention and control of infectious diseases. Serves as consultant to physicians, public health nurses, hospital infection control personnel, and the general public in matters related to infectious diseases. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in nursing from a National League for Nursing accredited program with emphasis on epidemiology, infectious diseases, microbiology, statistics, or related courses.
