MINIMUM STARTING PAY: $14.86 Child & Adolescent Specialist - Legacy House The Child and Adolescent Specialist will provide quality services to the families and individuals (adults and children) in crisis who are seeking services. This individual will intervene appropriately by providing one-on-one, family and group counseling; will provide education, training, and technical assistance to community agencies, service providers, and the community at-large concerning child and adolescent abuse/trauma and the dynamics of families that have been exposed to violence. Responsibilities of this position include developing and maintaining agency and community collaborations in service provision for children and adults. Candidates should have a master's degree in social work, counseling or a related field required. Applicants should have a thorough knowledge and demonstrated ability in providing appropriate interventions and services to children, adolescents and families affected by violence; Knowledge of the criminal and juvenile justice system as it relates to child and adolescent victims of violent crimes; and 3-5 years related experience. |

MINIMUM STARTING PAY: $22.97 Clinical Social Services Coordinator - Social Services Responsibilities include assisting the Administrator of Social Services with planning, organizing, promoting, monitoring and implementing of program services and departmental goals. This individual will directly supervise the Social Services department clinical staff as well as provide clinical coordination/guidance to the staff of the Mother/Baby Healthline (MBHL) and the Prenatal Substance Use Prevention Program (PSUPP). They will also maintain and enhance the knowledge base and skills of staff assigned to the department towards providing comprehensive, quality services/care to the client population/customers served by the Marion County Health Department. A Master's Degree from an accredited school of social work with concentration in interpersonal relationships and/or administration required. Candidates should have 1-3 years (post MSW) of progressively responsible supervisory social work experience, preferably in a health care setting. Candidates should have an LCSW and a valid Indiana driver's license with access to own transportation. |

MINIMUM STARTING PAY: $12.05 Community Outreach Worker - Covering Kids & Families This position is responsible for assisting in getting Indiana residents who are uninsured, signed up for either Hoosier Healthwise or Wishard Advantage. This is done by canvassing neighborhoods and by visiting schools, churches and other neighborhood organizations. Candidate must have valid Indiana driver's license and insurance. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; some college experience is a plus. Candidates should have 1 - 3 years previous outreach experience, must speak Spanish fluently, and have excellent customer service skills. |

MINIMUM STARTING PAY: $22.96 Dental Hygienist - Dental Program This position is responsible for performing many critical services during the oral health assessment that detect, treat and prevent diseases of the mouth. It provides services that help patients prevent gum disease and cavities i.e., removal of deposits from teeth, application of sealants and fluoride to prevent decay, and oral health instruction/education. It requires participation and coordination/scheduling for dental health education in community health fairs. It orders, maintains and provides dental health materials for the dental department i.e., pamphlets, brochures and posters. It is involved in scheduling and community contact for the Smile Mobile. This position is a salaried clinical position (exempt from over-time). Work hours are 8am-5pm Monday-Friday with occasional evening or weekend responsibilities i.e., health fairs. This position requires an associate's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited Dental Hygiene Program. This position requires at all times a current, valid, and unrestricted dental hygiene license issued by the State of Indiana. |

MINIMUM STARTING PAY: $17.91 District Medical Social Worker - Social Work Services The person in this position is responsible for providing a diversity of social work services in an assigned work setting. This person will assist patients / clients and their families to find practical ways of resolving social, emotional and environmental problems, which interfere with optimum functioning and attainment of total health. This individual works closely with community agencies and providers to maximize health outcomes for individuals, families and communities. Through home visits, office visits and community encounters this person will determine the impact that the environment and family has on the client functioning. This position requires work and duties performed within the Housing and Environmental section of the Marion County Health Department. Analytical, psychosocial assessment and counseling skills are required for this position. Candidates must have a master's degree from an accredited school of social work program. Candidates must also be a licensed social worker or be eligible to become a licensed. Candidates must take Licensed Clinical Social Worker examination when eligible and have 1 to 3 years of experience, in a care setting preferably. |

MINIMUM STARTING PAY: $13.12 Environmental Health Specialist - Housing Leadership, Problem Solving and the Ability to Investigate a Problem! Conducts on-site inspections and surveys in assigned area and evaluates conditions that fail to meet environmental health and safety public health codes. MINIMUM STARTING PAY: $17.91 Hazardous Materials Specialist - Water Quality / Hazardous Materials This position is responsible for conducting emergency responses, inspections, investigations and surveys to incidents Or situations involving hazardous materials/wastes, infectious materials, and environmental pollution and radiation sources. Ensures compliance with applicable laws/regulations; initiates appropriate enforcement action and/or recommends course of action to bring violations into compliance. Twenty-four hour (24 hour) response one a rotating basis is required. This position requires a Bachelor's degree with one to three years of experience. The individual in this position will be required to achieve / maintain required certifications to perform expected / assigned job functions and must pass an annual physical to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). |

Overseas, processes and provides follow-up on Medicaid risk based managed care referrals and authorization for payment.
