MINIMUM STARTING PAY: $10.60 Clinic Assistant - WIC Program This position is responsible for greeting and assisting program participants with certification process, check pick up and other necessary duties relative to certification of individuals for the Women, Infant and Children Supplemental Food Program. Responsible for managing phone coverage, supporting clinic nutritionist, maintaining program files, and completing monthly reports. Applicant should possess strong written and oral communication skills, be able to interact with a diverse population, have the ability to manage multiple tasks, and must possess good computer skills. A High School diploma with previous work experience is required. Bi-lingual skills (English and Spanish) are preferred. |

MINIMUM STARTING PAY: $17.91 Clinic Nurse - Action Health Performs nursing services as a health team member in Pediatric, Adolescent, OB/GYN, Family Planning, and/or School-Based Clinics. Provides health education and patient counseling to control and prevent disease, and promote optimum health and well being of clients, to include adhering to all laws, regulations, policies and procedures. Requirements: Completion of a Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing from a NLN approved program for registered nurses. Previous clinical experience as a professional, registered nurse is preferred. MINIMUM STARTING PAY: $10.60 Clinical Technician - School Health The person in this position will be responsible for acting as a liaison between the patient and the primary care provider (PCP) in order to prepare the patient for his/her visit. Performs clinical laboratory procedures at the ACTION Health Center and/or School-Based Health Clinics. Provide a hard copy (chart) to the provider for patient care. Collects data for registration and intake purposes. May be required to float as technician to different facilities. This position requires a one-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to eighteen months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. |

MINIMUM STARTING PAY: $12.05 Community Health Worker (Prenatal) - Community Based Care This position is responsible for providing outreach and follow-up for prenatal clients. Under the direction of the Care Coordinator provides continuity of care for prenatal and postpartum clients, and their infants through home visits and other community visits. High School Diploma or GED required with one to three years of previous work experience, preferred experience in health related field. Applicants should have a valid Indiana Driver's license with access to own car and current automobile insurance. |

MINIMUM STARTING PAY: $34.17 Dentist - Dental Program Provides generalized dental services to patients in public health dental clinics. Applies dental knowledge and skill to propose and implement dental treatment plans on assigned patients. Educates patients in preventive dental care principles. Supervises clinical operations, patient/staff communications, and the dental staff assigned to his/her dental team. Applicants should have a DDS/DMD degree from an accredited school. You should also have a valid, unlimited Indiana Dental License; valid CSR and DEA registration permits for administration of pharmaceuticals; current CPR certification; and a valid Indiana driver's license and access to car for travel between clinic locations. You should have at least three years of experience in providing clinical dentistry to children and adults and experience in administration preferred. |

MINIMUM STARTING PAY: $13.12 Environmental Health Specialist I - Environmental Health Leadership, Problem Solving and the Ability to Investigate a Problem! Conducts on-site inspections and surveys in assigned area and evaluates conditions that fail to meet environmental health and safety public health codes. Facilitate periodic surveys that will be utilized to evaluate the environmental health status of the neighborhoods and communicate the results to the community served. MINIMUM STARTING PAY: $43.27 Laboratory Director - Laboratory Director, Public Health Laboratories is a position, which manages and administers the Marion County Health Department Public Health Laboratories programs. This is a supervisory job class with substantial responsibility for the exercise of independent judgment in employing, disciplining, or adjudicating grievances of subordinates. This individual acts as the legal authority and directs the operation of clinical and environmental laboratories throughout the Marion County Health Department to ensure compliance with all federal, state and local regulations/laws and accreditation agencies. This position requires a minimum of a MD or DO and board certified in anatomical and/or clinical pathology, or a doctoral degree, acceptable under the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act and board certifications as required by the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act. Requires 5-10 years of administration and/or technical laboratory experience and 3 years of supervisory experience or grandfathered in such a way to meet the requirements of the regulatory and accreditation standards. |

MINIMUM STARTING PAY: $9.74 Mosquito Control Technician (Seasonal) - Vector Borne Disease Prevention This position is responsible for conducting field research and performing appropriate activities and procedures to control mosquito activity and prevent possible outbreaks of related diseases. Responsibilities include checking known or potential mosquito breeding sites for presence of mosquito larvae or adults; applies insecticides by spraying or other control measures to reduce/eliminate the potential disease bearing and nuisance of the mosquito population in Marion County. Candidates should have skills in the following areas: map reading, following directions, assessing area / depths of standing water, and good driving. Having knowledge of general layout, directions of main streets and highways in Marion county also helpful. Must be 18 with a valid Indiana Driver's License and automobile insurance. |
