Crisis Intervention

People affected by violence, whether it's the primary victim or witnesses to the violence, are often in crisis in the days, weeks and sometimes months after a traumatic event. Immediate crisis intervention can help alleviate some of the symptoms that accompany crisis situations. Legacy House staff are experienced crisis interveners, who have received in-depth training both locally and nationally through the National Organization for Victim Assistance.
