Adult Female Survivors of Family Violence

Thousands of adults and children living in our community live in homes where violence is as commonplace as the common cold and basketball in Indiana. Too often, individuals feel helpless and hopeless in regards to creating a more peaceful home.

No one deserves to be beaten physically or beaten down emotionally. Every intimate relationship has conflict from time to time; however no intimate relationship should have abuse.

This adult support group provides a safe, confidential and consistent setting for survivors of abuse to discuss their experiences and gain needed support.

An adult support group is held at Legacy House once each week. Any adult female who is or has been in a violent relationship is invited and encouraged to attend.
