Temporary Emergency Protective Orders

Victims of domestic violence and child abuse often live in fear that their abuser will come back to hurt or kill them. Leaving an abusive relationship can often become more dangerous than actually living with the abuser. The risk of homicide at the hands of an abuser dramatically increases once the victim leaves the relationship.

The Marion County Prosecutor's Office provides technical assistance and training to the staff of Legacy House in order to provide Temporary Emergency Protective Orders to victims receiving services at Legacy House. For more information, call 317.554.5272.
