"Teens Keep It Real"

This is a group for teens whose lives have been affected by violence. The challenges that face teenagers are many and varied. When you add exposure to violence on top of an already challenging existence, just living can sometimes feel overwhelming.

This group will involve interaction between teens and provide each with an opportunity to try new ways of dealing with life challenges while nurturing good communication skills and personal values.

The teen group will be held in a safe environment where each person can work to establish a level of trust that will allow him or her to talk honestly about the issues facing them.

The group will meet the first and third Wednesday of each month from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
