Given nothing more than an opportunity and positive reinforcement, victims of violence are able to create a new path for their lives. A path that leads to happiness. After all, they too have hopes and dreams -- little ones they've tucked away deep inside to keep for themselves. Legacy House has helped victims and families pick up the pieces of their shattered lives and start over, empowering them with the tools to succeed. Legacy House is a safe place for men and women, boys and girls working through reactions to violence of all types: homicide, sexual abuse, family violence, robbery, stalking and childhood deprivation.

Ultimately, we help families beat the multigenerational cycle of violence. The fact is, violence is a learned behavior. With help, we can provide interventions. At Legacy House, we're committed to providing people with an opportunity for tomorrow -- a day they so desparately deserve. That's our mission. It's how we measure our success. We help victims learn how to love themselves again. We teach people how to build and restore themselves with self-esteem and how different life can be again. You can see it in their eyes.
