3901 Meadows Drive Building Renovation Phase One

Notice is hereby given that sealed bids are being secured from and will be received by: The Health and Hospital Corporation of Marion County, 3838 N. Rural Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46205, for the 3901 Meadows Drive Building Renovation Phase One project located at 3901 Meadows Drive, Indianapolis, Indiana 46205. The work consists of building renovation and includes the following items: selective demolition; replacement of exterior aluminum window system; concrete masonry elevator shaft; passenger elevator; second floor toilet rooms; HVAC replacement; electrical renovation; and plumbing renovation.

Each bidder for a prime contract will be required to obtain a minimum of one complete set of bidding documents. Bidding documents may be obtained from the project architect, Cripe Architects and Engineers, 3939 Priority Way South Drive, Suite 400, Indianapolis, Indiana 46240, (317) 844-6777, upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit, by certified check, in the amount of $120.00.

Bids will be received for a single prime contract. Bids shall be in full accordance with the Construction Documents which are now on file with the Owner and may be examined by prospective Bidders at the following location:

A mandatory Pre-bid Meeting will be held Monday, June 21, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. local Indianapolis, Indiana time. The meeting will be held at 3901 Meadows Drive, Indianapolis, Indiana.

All bids will be opened and publicly read aloud on Thursday, July 15, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. local Indianapolis, Indiana time. Bids received after the hour and date set for receiving of bids will be returned unopened. The bid opening will be conducted at:

Bids must be accompanied by a satisfactory Bid Bond or Certified Check made payable to The Health and Hospital Corporation of Marion County, in the amount of 5% of the Bidder’s total bid and delivered in a sealed envelope showing the Bidder’s name and address as specified in the bid instructions.

The Health and Hospital Corporation of Marion County reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to waive any irregularities in bid.
