Happy Juneteenth! Our offices and clinics will be closed today for the holiday. This includes COVID-19 vaccination and testing sites operated by the health department.

During the summer, the Water Quality department samples various rivers and streams that are popular fishing and boating spots around Indianapolis.

If you would like to know the results of the most recent bacteria sample on any of these spots, give us a call at 317-221-2266.

MCPHD’s Safe Syringe Access and Support program is hosting a Community Resource Fair today until 2 p.m. This free event offers mental health resources, addiction counseling and recovery services, NARCAN, HIV and STI testing, food and refreshments, and so much more.

MCPHD’s Healthy Families program hosted its annual Family Celebration on June 8. About 170 babies, moms, dads and other family members enjoyed snacks, games, giveaways, and a family photo from our photo booth.
