Health & Hospital Corporation of Marion County (HHC) operates Marion County Public Health Department, Eskenazi Health, Eskenazi Health Foundation, Indianapolis EMS and Long Term Care.

HHC is governed by a seven-member Board of Trustees, whose members are appointed by the Mayor of Indianapolis, the City-County Council and the County Commissioners.

Our Mission is to promote and protect the health of everyone in the community and provide healthcare to those who are underserved.

Our Vision is that Indianapolis will be the healthiest large city in the United States by the year 2030.

MCPHD staff responded to late-August flooding by staffing four pop-up clinics in the affected areas and by providing safety information to residents and connections to public health resources from a mobile unit. MCPHD nurses administered more than 100 Tdap vaccines.
