MCPHD will host the next “Be a Good Neighbor” event this Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Garfield Park Library. At the event, we will distribute overdose prevention materials and community resources, clean up the neighborhood, and provide free HIV and Hepatitis C testing.

Heads up: The Back to School Vaccine Clinic today (August 4) from 3-7 p.m. has changed location. It will now be at the Northeast District Health Office at 2505 N. Arlington Ave. See the flyer for the rest of this month’s dates!

Tobacco use continues to be the leading risk of heart disease, cancer, and strokes among Marion County residents. Indiana’s Quitline offers a variety of services to tobacco users. For more information about MCPHD’s Tobacco Program, call 317-221-3007.
